A few years ago I would have felt more comfortable in a photo studio, where I had everything under control. Now what motivates me most is adapting to my surroundings and discovering new ways of looking. There are so many things that inspire me, but above all I try not to lose interest in the simple things: looking out of a car window or the light that remains after a sunset. If I had to choose just one, although it sounds obvious, it would be colour. It’s what moves me the most and what I enjoy the most, and not only in photography. Wherever I go, colour always catches my eye. When it comes to photography, I would say that it works almost like an instinct, as if you were running and you had to choose quickly between two paths without thinking: you know which one is the right one, even if you don’t quite know why.

That of someone with restlessness and curiosity. I don’t know if this is perceived from the outside, but it’s something I try to keep alive in every project: not to lose my curiosity and to keep moving with a certain restlessness – in a good way – like someone who doesn’t settle for the first thing they find. On the other hand, I think it also reflects order and temperance. Within all this spontaneity of colours there is a search for harmony and balance, together with something calm. I am not looking for the spectacular, but simply for what is already there.
